Built in 1900, the house of Tan Teng Niah is a 2-storey villa that is one of the most colourful in Singapore built by the local businessman.

Race Course Road

Just 3 minutes walk from the hotel lies Race Course Road, one of the most prolific road in Singapore.

Up until 1933, the Singapore Turf Club was located along this road where this part of history is immortalised in the name.
